Enjoying my 6 days 5 nights Backpacking trip in Thailand with Ah Hwee and Ah Jie..

Our Flight tickets..

Over there at 'Sunvarnabdhumi Airport' (Thailand International Terminal), we can get Free Wireless Internet Service using our passport to get the password at the Customer Service Counter..

Lift off..

When we reached the Airport, We went straight down to the Basement and Bought Fare Tokens for the Metro Railway..

These Tokens can be use to Tap when entry and Insert when exit..

We took the Express Line.. Non-Stop straight to the 'Makkasan Station'.. From there, We took another non Express one to 'Phaya Thai Station'..

Then we bought tickets to take the BTS Skytrain from the 'Phaya Thai Station' there to 'Siam Station'..

Our first destination, Bangkok..

We bought and drink Thai Style Bubble Tea.. LoL..

We went to have some Simple late lunch.. Not Thai foods but Hong Kong foods.. LoL..

After that, We walked a very long long way all around the Bangkok area for about more than 3 hours looking for hotels.. I walked until my leg cramp 2 times, Ah Hwee's leg heel cracked and bleed, and Ah Jie kanna Bird shit and Dog chased.. LoL..

We even got lost and in the end, we took Tuk Tuk to the hotel.. LoL..

Our Hotel.. Mandarin Hotel located at '662 Rama IV road'.. We didn't book in advance.. We just walk in and try our luck..

This is a very Nice 4 to 5 Stars Hotel and it's Cheap too..

Very Nice Technology.. Auto Seat Warmer too.. We are so surprise to find it here other than in Japan..

Hotel Breakfast Buffet.. Very Nice..

After checking in to our hotel, we went back to the "Tuk Tuk wait for u" (The Tuk Tuk driver who brought us to the hotel and he offered to wait for us to bring us elsewhere we wanted..) and Kanna cheated when riding it..
This cheater trying to bring us to massage centre and some tailor shop to get to earn more money before he bring us to the destination that we want..
When we failed to accomplish his wishes, he got angry and trying to ask for more money for the ride and in the end, we got to pay him 700 Baht while actual price is just around 100 to 150 baht per trip and we also got to get out in the middle of no where to walk to our destination..
Beware of Tuk Tuk Cheater at Bangkok !!

Our First destination, we went to shop at 'MDK' shopping mall..
This is a very nice big shopping mall to shop..

We went up to Level 5 and went to have dinner at this International Food Court called 'The Fifth Food Avenue'..

We went walked this big shopping mall and saw these old classic Games Console..

The next day, We walked to visit a small temple just one street right beside our hotel..

Then we went took a Taxi.. We don dare to take Tuk Tuk anymore.. LoL..

We went to 'Wat Pho' (The Temple of the Reclining Buddha)..

We bought tickets.. Only 100 Baht each and got Free bottle of mineral water.. LoL..

Wat Phra Chetuphon as it is generally known to the Thais, is mainly famous for the huge Reclining Buddha statue it houses..

Changes 200 Baht to small coins for Coin dropping wishes..

Then we continue walking around this big Temple area..

As we exit the temple, there are many Street sellers selling all kinds of foods and souvenirs..
Ah Jie happily bought his Passion Fruit juice.. LoL..

Then we continue walked outside the white walls around to The Grand Palace and The Temple of the Emerald Buddha, 'Wat Phra Kaew'..

The Grand Palace is a complex of buildings at the heart of Bangkok, Thailand.. The palace has been the official residence of the Kings of Siam (and later Thailand) since 1782..

No Short pants and Short skirts is allowed in there.. So we got to rent their Thai pants to wear when got in..
Queuing to buy tickets.. About 500 Baht each..

Within the palace complex are several impressive buildings including 'Wat Phra Kaew' (Temple of the Emerald Buddha), which contains the small, very famous and greatly revered Emerald Buddha that dates back to the 14th century..
